Delays and disruptions on the Naples-Rome railway line. Today, Thursday, June 18, traffic on the high-speed line was severely slowed due to damage to the line by unknown persons near Tora and Piccilli. The FS group emphasizes that high-speed trains from Naples to Rome can be rerouted onto the conventional line via Formia, resulting in increased travel times of up to 90 minutes.
Rail traffic on the Rome-Naples high-speed line has resumed since 8:30 a.m., following the damage to the infrastructure that occurred at 6:50 a.m. RFI technicians responded promptly to restore full functionality of the line. According to reports, cables were cut and some cables were stolen.
